My mask has nothing to do with anything. It had nothing to do with that day, and the only reason I still wear it around here is because I feel better having a purpose.

But it seems like you're ... reaching. So, instead of having you continue to do that, I'm gonna explain myself.

I was trying to be understanding. But I guess I misunderstood how sensitive of an issue it was for you, because I'm not the type who uses that stuff against other people. That's not me. And I didn't mean to make you think that, and I completely misread how you'd react, and for that, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was actually a ... thing-thing, especially since you usually seem like you've got it together.

It had nothing to do with the mask or me trying to make a quip because I had it on, but I guess it seemed that way.
